As a veteran of the public relations/communications industry, Ann has managed all facets of marketing communications ranging from national consumer events to local and business-to-business programs. As account director, she is adept at assessing clients’ marketing needs and driving business.

Her experience working for magazines, including Business Week, Seventeen and People have also provided her with a special insight into the needs and challenges of print media.

Ann is a master of developing targeted special events that capture the limelight for a wide variety of companies, including KFC, Chefwear, Metropolitan Mayors Caucus’ “Clean Air Counts” program, Cover the Uninsured Week, Centre East Theater, Flat Top Grill, Cook-Illinois Bus Company, and others.

As key media strategist for “Clean Air Counts”, Ann developed a series of outdoor boards to encourage Chicago area businesses to reduce air emissions. The campaign utilized executives from Chicago area companies who were featured on the boards and in local media, including a TV segment.

Cook-Illinois, a privately-owned school bus company, recently switched to biodiesel fuel in its bus fleet. To make the announcement, Ann coordinated an Earth Day press event attended by every media outlet in Chicago. This program has been expanded to include suburban activities as well.
